Charleston M.S.B.L. Information

The Charleston MSBL season will be starting on April 13th for the 2008 season.  

Once the season begins, we do keep a list of players' names in a player pool for those players who are still interested in playing but did not find us until after all of the rosters have been filled.  The team managers may choose players from this pool at any time during the season to replace injured players or fill roster spots as the season progresses.  Those players added to a team's roster prior to mid-season are considered eligible to complete the regular season as well as participate in the playoffs should that team qualify.  Players added after the mid-season deadline are eligible to complete the season, however are not allowed to participate in any playoff games.

Players in the pool who are not added to a team's active roster during the season will be contacted by the league president prior to the next season.  For the purpose of league expansion, the players in the pool are given the opportunity to form a new team together for the upcoming season or take part in a preseason workout/draft to be a added to an existing team.  It is also possible for any player in the player pool to be added to a team's roster during the off-season for the upcoming season.
